GP Advertising is one of Australia’s largest in-house retail ad agencies. Work with our friendly and experienced team on some of the country’s most iconic brands, including Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne.

About the role  

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Operations Manager and based onsite at the Homebush West Corporate office, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, execution, and optimisation of email marketing to reach target audience and promote the Harvey Norman, Domayne & Joyce Mayne brands. You will work autonomously and collectively with the internal marketing and production teams

You will;

  • Manage the end-to-end process of all email marketing communications across all brands within the nominated ESP and with agency partners.
  • Provide strong direction on creative design and input, inclusive of layout and copy, based upon benchmarks and industry metrics.
  • Implement and manage email marketing programmes with a vision to assess current communication roadmap and email platform appraisal.
  • Forge a strong email marketing process which aligns with the client’s objectives and the wider campaign.
  • Stay abreast of and recommend email marketing best practices with a thorough knowledge of current legal implications (data and privacy laws, Spam Act etc).
  • Communicate, educate, and provide guidance on the marketing channel to inform all stakeholders.
  • Carry out all advertising activities in strict accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

About you  

You should have a grasp of the digital landscape and a passion for both the creative and technical aspects of crafting digital campaigns across various channels. Ideally, you will hold a relevant degree in Digital Design or possess equivalent industry experience.

You will also have: 

  • A compelling portfolio with projects ranging from ad unit executions to full site developments.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
  • Knowledge of XHTML, HTML5, and CSS.
  • JavaScript (including standards such as W3C), video editing and Adobe After Affects experience is beneficial, although not a requirement.
