Systems Administrator
As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our inventory databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. You will play a critical role in supporting overall efficiency of operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Maintain and update inventory records in the database, including but not limited to, item descriptions, SKUs, quantities, and locations. Organize, validate, and maintain the organization's data in various databases and systems, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and completeness
- Database Administration: Perform routine database tasks and optimizing database performance. Perform regular audits to compare database records and investigate discrepancies and duplications
- Data Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve data quality, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors
- Data Reporting: Generate regular and ad hoc reports, leveraging data from different sources to support business functions and decision-making
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, business units, and management to define data requirements, support data-related projects, and address data-related issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains. Provide support to team members on inventory-related processes and systems
- Assist with the implementation and testing of inventory management software upgrades or enhancements
About You:
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Able to interpret large volumes of data and possess strong analytical ability
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role doing planning, forecasting and analysis
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot table proficiency
- Ability to build strong working relationships, but also able to work independently
- Forward thinker and problem solver
- Self-starter and high attention to detail
- A neat and tidy dress code should be maintained at all times
- A clean and tidy environment is to be kept around your workplace at all times
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time to fulfill your role
- Continuously comply with the Occupational Health & Safety procedure regulations
