Product Co-ordinator

We have one 12 month fixed-term, full-time role available for 40 hours per week in our Harvey Norman Support Office located at 8/72 Cavendish Drive, Manukau City, Auckland. This role works Monday – Friday.

About the Role

This role will assist the Senior Bedding team with tasks such as data entry, purchase orders, pricing updates, communications and reporting. Additionally, you will manage and regularly update the Critical Path to ensure timely product launches.

In this role, you will work with suppliers to collect product details, images, samples and promotional materials. You will help update point of sale and online listings, making sure everything is accurate and on time. This role will also assist with marketing support, project work and analysing supplier responses to deadline requests.

Some key tasks will include:

  • Assisting the Visual Merchandising team with administrative tasks
  • Manage communications to stores
  • Ensure all relevant documents & procedures are up to date
  • Assist with conferences, offsite meetings and training sessions
  • Monthly ad hoc reporting on sales
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and other essential company policies
  • Undertake project work and other duties as required
  • Creating & processing collated & allocated orders
  • Manage our product maintenance critical path.

About you

We are looking for someone with an understanding and interest in design, interiors, bedroom, bed linen and décor. You will be self-motivated with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to adapt and prioritise in a fast paced, busy environment.

Ideally, you will have experience in dealing with a variety of audiences with different perspectives and levels of expertise.

Some attributes we are looking for include:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fast & accurate data entry skills
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with bedding products & accessories, desirable
  • Experience using SAP, desirable
  • Knowledge of NZ legislation in relation to retail, desirable
