About the role
Based onsite at the Homebush West Corporate Office, you will work closely with our Technical Project & Development Manager to coordinate lighting projects and execute requirements for a wide range of retails stores across Australia and New Zealand.
You will;
- Coordinate commercial lighting projects from design to installation, maintaining associated documentation.
- Prepare and develop lighting plans, specifications and proposals for our retail spaces that align with project requirements and the corporate vision.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders – including Property, Design & Planning, Shopfitting Departments and Electrical Contractors ensuring project alignment and execution.
- Undertake lighting drafting, design and simulation, ensuring compliance to Australian/New Zealand standards in line with the National Construction Code.
- Attend site meetings as required and undertake site surveys to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to the effective progression of the team, supporting continuous development and driving process improvement.
About you
You will have a degree in Lighting Design, Architecture or a related discipline, along with at least two years of experience in lighting design, project documentation, and coordination.
You will also have;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, AGi32/Dialux, Photometric toolbox and other lighting design tools.
- Sound understanding of AS/NZ Lighting Standards and Building/Construction Codes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
- Great teamwork abilities with a strong emphasis on building rapport.
