Commercial Administration Assistant

This is a 12 month fixed term, full time position in our East Tamaki office.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate and manage a wide range of administration tasks to support the Commercial Operations team.
  • Actively manage Harvey Norman customer repairs & servicing.
  • Keep our customers updated of the status of their repairs and ensure this is completed within an acceptable timeframe while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Oversee the handling of damaged and faulty stock, ensuring to provide a timely resolution
  • Tag defective products and liaise effectively with service teams and suppliers to facilitate repairs or replacements
  • Initiate and process various claims accurately and effectively
  • Support department administrative functions, including tracking pending credits, managing claims, reconciliation and ensuring compliance with company procedures and reporting requirements
  • Assist in completing operational administrative tasks as needed
  • Generate and maintain weekly/monthly reports on faulty stock for review by the Proprietor
  • Participate in stocktake activities to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Actively manage Harvey Norman customer repairs & servicing.

 

The skills and experience you’ll need to bring with you include:

  • Previous experience in a busy Administration role.
  • Ability to work with numbers.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft office with good Excel skills.
  • Customer service champion with very strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Persistent with a high level of work ethic and professionalism.
  • Experience with commercial products such as cookware, refrigeration, laundry, heating and audio visual goods (desirable but not required).
  • Professional demeanour, good sense of humour, down to earth, approachable and work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
