We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time role in Accounts Receivable. The Accounts Receivable Officer will be working 100% onsite based in Stapylton, Gold Coast.  As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role and be an integral part of the Finance Team.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Processing and refunding credit card transactions
  • Reconciling incoming funds and ensuring correct allocation of customer payments
  • Processing daily collections and credit claims in POS system
  • Reconciling debtors’ accounts
  • Debt collections (via phone and email)
  • Processing monthly debtor statements
  • Ensuring debtor profiles are up to date
  • Managing trade credit insurance reporting, claims and renewals
  • Responding to and investigating customer enquiries in a timely manner
  • Supporting the Finance and Sales teams

Ideally you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • The ability to stay on top of tasks, meet deadlines and respond quickly to changing priorities
  • Superb organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Punctuality and work commitment
  • Strong desire to learn and adapt to our current and new systems
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • High integrity to handle sensitive and confidential information
