Harvey Norman, a market leader in the retail industry, is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Casual Technician / Customer Support Specialist to join the team in the Liverpool store's Mobile & Computer Department.

As a front-of-house customer service representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing book-ins for repair jobs and faulty items.

Your friendly demeanour and excellent communication skills will be essential as you greet customers, assess their needs, and provide them with personalised support.

You will coordinate repair processes and ensure that all customer queries and concerns are promptly addressed.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide solutions to customers on desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other computer peripherals
• Manage book-ins for repair jobs and faulty items to ensure customer satisfaction
• Process returns and faulty products correctly, coordinating repairs, replacements, or credits as needed
• Liaise with suppliers and repair agents to ensure prompt repairs or replacements for customers
• Undertake cashiering and sales duties as required
• Collaborate closely with the technical team to address customer queries and concerns in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Basic technical understanding of computers and computer products
• Excellent customer service skills
• Retail experience is desirable
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays is essential
