Harvey Norman Commercial, located in Port Melbourne are seeking a highly motivated Analyst Programmer to join our growing and successful commercial business on a full-time basis across a 38-hour week.  
 
Your new role 
As the Analyst Programmer you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and maintaining our organisations software and applications ensuring data integrity, accuracy and accessibility is always upheld to the highest standard and maintained. Collaborates with cross-function teams to support system requirements, decision-making and quality standards while supporting the general maintenance of company software and applications. 

Reporting to our Senior Systems Operations Manager, you will also:  

• Researching, design and maintain system program needs within multiple programs 

• Design, document and implementation of database useability processes and procedures 

• Writing, updating and maintaining program code and ad-hoc reports from different data sources to support decision making 

• Identify, analyse, validate, and document business benefits associated with technology limitations 

• Establish and maintain database security protocols 

• Perform maintenance of backup and recovery systems 

• Provide ongoing support for ERP, CRM and other core business applications 

To be successful you will have: 

• A tertiary level qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent 

• 3 years’ experience in a software development role 

• Proven experience preparing documentation, policies, procedures, and instructions relating to system useability. 

• Proven experience with ERP, CRM and management systems preferred 

• Proven experience troubleshooting and providing support to the business to diagnose and repair database and data related issues 

• Proven experience translating technical terms to the business
