Harvey Norman Commercial Division are looking for an outstanding Entry to Mid-Level PHP/Magento Developer to join our team in Taren Point. The role will focus on the development and maintenance of our current websites and developing new websites. You will work as part of a small marketing team and will be required to communicate internally with other divisions and staff

Role and Requirements

• Assist in the development and maintenance of Magento 2, WordPress and static NextJS websites
• Contribute to the design and implementation of features and enhancements across our websites
• Help troubleshoot and fix bugs or issues on existing websites
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Assist in monitoring website performance and making recommendations for improvement
• Stay up to date with web development technologies, particularly Magento and WordPress
• 1–2 years of experience with Magento 2 development (personal or professional projects accepted)
• Some experience or understanding of WordPress development
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL,  and JavaScript
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and working within structured development processes
• Willingness to learn and work with technologies such as Nginx, Apache, Linux, or Microsoft Azure
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
