Harvey Norman Bondi Junction Electrical is looking for a motivated Floor Care Specialist to join our fast-paced, high-performing team.
Core to this role is a genuine belief in helping customers make the right buying decision, every time.
This is a specialist role in a category that is evolving quickly. Floor Care now extends well beyond the standard stick and barrel vacuums, with an ever-expanding range of products, features and technology across robot vacuums, hard-floor cleaners, carpet shampooers, wet-and-dry cleaning and smart-home cleaning solutions.
The ideal candidate will confidently demonstrate the full range of products, including category staples, premium barrel vacuums, the latest stick vacuums, the benefits of specialist hard-floor cleaners and the very latest robotic innovations. The ideal candidate will also possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to explain technical features in a way that is accessible to all customers, regardless of their prior experience.
You will work across leading brands including Dyson, Miele, Shark, Bissell, LG and the latest robot vendors.
About the Role
You will be a key specialist within our Electrical team, building strong product knowledge, demonstrating products confidently, supporting category performance, and maintaining excellent presentation standards in a busy Bondi Junction retail environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide 5 Star customer service in a fast-paced retail environment, collaborating with customers on the best solution for their home
- Demonstrate products clearly, practically, professionally across all levels of knowledge.
- Demonstrate products through tailored presentations and hands-on examples. Clearly and professionally explain features and benefits to all customers—whether they're beginners or seasoned users.
- Support customers across the full Floor Care category
- Stay up to date with new technology, especially robot vacuums, smart cleaning solutions and hard-floor care
- Build strong product knowledge across Dyson, Miele, Shark, Bissell and other leading brands
- Be a driving force behind Floor Care category growth and performance
- Maintain merchandising, ticketing, stock and display to the highest standards
- Contribute positively to the wider Electrical team, including supporting the broader appliance category when needed
About You
You may already have experience in floor care, small appliances, electrical retail, technology, demonstrations, premium homewares or another customer-focused environment.
You will bring:
