We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Planner to join our team. This is a 6-month fixed-term, full-time role, located in our Manukau Support Office!

About the Role

This role is key to ensuring optimal stock levels and supporting commercial outcomes through accurate forecasting and data-driven decision-making. You will support our teams by using planning tools and systems to keep inventory flowing smoothly and help the business perform well.

Some key tasks will include:

  • Maintain accurate inventory forecasts using different systems (Netstock & SAP BI)
  • Collaborate with category managers to support planning and stock availability
  • Monitor and analyse inventory KPIs including stock turn, sell-through and availability
  • Identify and resolve inventory issues through proactive problem-solving and data analysis
  • Build strong relationships across internal teams and external suppliers
  • Support product ranging and replenishment processes to meet customer demands

About You

You are a reliable and independent planner with a strong analytical mindset, able to manage multiple priorities effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving problems with data.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in inventory planning within retail or a related industry
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience with inventory forecasting systems such as Netstock or similar
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with SAP BI tools such as Business Objects, Dashboards, BW, and HANA
  • Familiarity with Windows-based systems and planning tools
