About the role  

Based onsite at the Homebush West Corporate Office, you will work closely with our Technical Project & Development Manager to coordinate lighting projects and execute requirements for a wide range of retails stores across Australia and New Zealand.

You will;

  • Prepare and document lighting plans for our retail spaces that align with project requirements and the corporate vision.
  • Collaborate on commercial lighting projects from drafting and design to installation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders – including Property, Design & Planning, Shopfitting Departments and Electrical Contractors ensuring project alignment and execution.
  • Attend site meetings as required and undertake site surveys to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the effective progression of the team, supporting continuous development and driving process improvement.

About you  

This position is ideal for someone  proficient in AutoCAD and looking to grow their career in Retail Lighting design. While experience in the lighting industry is valued, it is not essential — we will provide full training and mentoring to support your progression into a Project Coordinator role.

You will also have;

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and exposure to Revit (not essential but highly regarded).
  • Understanding of Building/Construction Codes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, working within a small team.
  • Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to be mentored into a lighting design role.
  • Ability to think independently and solve problems, effectively meeting deadlines.
