The Opportunity

As part of the 2025 Mineral Resources Graduate Program, you will have the opportunity to kick- start your professional career with one of Australia’s fastest-growing mining companies.

This one-year program will challenge your thinking across the discipline of psychology, offering immediate exposure to large-scale projects throughout the business. 

With continuous guidance, and accredited supervision, from our in-house psychologist and Head of Mental Health, you will find yourself in an optimal position to develop a thriving career in Psychology.

You will be part of an innovative internal mental health service (MinRes Mind Matters Team). The Mental Wellbeing sits within the Health and Wellbeing business unit alongside Physical Wellbeing and Social and Lifestyle Wellbeing. The vison is to educate, encourage and empower Min Res employees to improve their lifestyle behaviours and shape the culture of the company to create a healthier and happier workforce.

As a member of the multidisciplinary team the graduate psychologist / intern will be committed to promoting positive mental health, provide evidence informed treatment for moderate to severe mental health concerns, and support recovery back to good mental health.

Requirements for the role

To be eligible for the 2025 Mineral Resources Graduate Program, you’ll need to:

  • Graduated by the end of 2024 in a 5+2 General Registration Pathway or have graduated from a recognised tertiary pathway within the past 24 months;
  • Be provisionally registered and seeking General Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold unlimited working rights at the time of application;
  • have availability to commence full-time employment at the end of February 2025;
  • Must be based in WA or willing to relocate
