The Opportunity
MinRes are looking for experienced Fleet Management System Operators, to join our unique team working on a 8/6 7/7  FIFO roster at our Onslow Iron site.

Fleet Management System Operators are essential in mining, using the Wenco FMS to monitor and control mining equipment. This role is crucial for effective fleet management, significantly impacting productivity and efficiency.

• Attend and contribute to all pre-start meetings in line with the Critical Risk Management (CRM) requirements.
• Collate and enter the Hazard Cards for D/S and N/S into the INX InControl System.
• Assist the Mining Supervisor to complete the daily SIC Reports.
• Dispatch of the Mining Fleet ensuring safety & productivity are maximised
• Directing and monitoring of mobile mining equipment, coordinating logistical activities and adjustment of plans in real-time to ensure efficient mining operations.
• Manage daily FMS data, logging mining activities and identifying trends or inefficiencies.
• Monitor safety compliance and incident reporting, coordinating responses under Mine Management's guidance.

What is required?

• Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience of open cut mine operations.
• Previous experience with Fleet Management Systems / Dispatch activities (Experience with Wenco Mine FMS highly favourable)
• Previous experience with MS Office suite inclusive of mandatory skills in the use of Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the INX InControl.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written & ability to communicate to operators through to management.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
