The Role
Mineral Resources is currently seeking a casual Medical Practitioner that is experienced in Occupational Health to join state of the art Health Centre, located at our world class facilities in Osborne Park. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing organisation in an ad-hoc role, providing as-needed consultation and care, with potential upcoming leave coverage responsibilities. As a Medical Practitioner within MinRes you will be required to demonstrate a positive commitment to Regulations, Acts and Policies relevant to Medicine including the Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct, and Standards of Practice for Doctors.
Key responsibilities
- Provides evidence-based occupational health assessment services to candidates/employees in accordance with the MinRes Health Centre Services and in liaison with the Practice Manager and General Manager of Health and Safety
- Complies with and demonstrates a positive commitment to Regulations, Acts and Policies relevant to medicine.
- Supports and liaises to assist with the provision of coordinated occupational health services and care.
- Completes clinical documentation as required/requested and undertakes other administrative tasks as required.
- Provide general Occupational health support to the broader business.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Minimum Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ year experience in an Occupational Health setting
- Registration with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Great understanding of health conditions and associated workplace risks
- Proficient with digital health systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of ISO450001 (Quality Management systems)
