About This Role:

The Associate Director of Scholar Development and Undergraduate Research (SDUR) works alongside the director to manage operations and programmatic needs of the unit. SDUR is situated within the Staley School of Leadership and oversees university-wide undergraduate research efforts, as well as student programs focused on professional development through undergraduate research. The Associate Director will directly support the undergraduate research initiative and will support administrative needs of the unit.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and five or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s, Doctoral and/or terminal degree in a relevant field
  • Scholarly research experience including presentation and/or publication
  • Experience leading undergraduate research activity or initiatives
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and well-being and have practices to demonstrate that commitment
  • Record of successfully collaborating with faculty
  • Proven ability to influence, change thinking, or gain acceptance from others
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills – ability to develop relationships with various stakeholder groups including donors, prospective students, colleagues, and university partners

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$55,000.00 - $80,000.00
