About This Role
Kansas State University's Aerospace and Technology Campus in Salina seeks a dedicated Aviation Maintenance faculty member to join the Department of Aviation. This full-time, 12-month instructor will be focused on teaching credit and non-credit training courses for aviation maintenance professionals.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must hold a current FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings for at least the three (3) year period immediately preceding the appointment
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge in maintenance fundamentals, aviation materials, electrical systems, engine theory and applications, aircraft metallic structures, systems and components, and other related topics
- Demonstrated familiarity with FAA regulations, particularly those associated with 14 CFR Part 147
- Three or more years A&P work experience, including various operations such as Part 91, 135, and/or 145
- Three or more years of teaching experience
- Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills
Other Requirements:
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
