About This Role
The Department of Anatomy & Physiology with the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a Research Assistant. This position functions as a Research Assistant in the laboratory of Judy M. Delp, Professor of Anatomy and Physiology. This position deals with all aspects of the research performed in the investigation of the effects of aging and exercise training on the cardiovascular system, including performance of in vitro assessment of the reactivity of the resistance vasculature, routine laboratory assays, and supervision of undergraduates who assist with exercise training of rodents on treadmills.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization or a non-related bachelor’s degree with one year of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Proficiency in molecular biological methodologies and experience with genetic rodent models is preferred.
