Assistant Athletics Director - Ticketing: Sales, Service & Strategy
About This Role
K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Athletics Director - Ticketing: Sales, Service & Strategy, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits eligible position.
An example of job responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:
- Leads both the 'ticket sales & services office' and the 'ticket sales & strategies office' with a total of two directors, one assistant director, one account executive, one post-graduate intern, and multiple student and part-time staff.
- Responsible for all ticketing efforts for K-State Athletics' six ticketed sports and is the direct point of contact for football and men's basketball.
- Works in conjunction with other external units to develop and implement new ticketing and revenue strategies and programs, and develops ticket packages and pricing, bringing innovative ideas to generate revenue and increase attendance.
- Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of experience in collegiate sports ticketing and sales
- Experience with Paciolan
- Experience with Ballena
- Experience with secondary ticket partners
- Experience with dynamic pricing
- Proven revenue generation experience
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills with an attention to detail
- Excellent written and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading a ticket office at a Power 4 athletic department
- Experience hosting an NCAA post-season ticketed event
- Experience with bowl games
- Knowledge and oversight of budget
This position holds expectations of compliance with all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, Kansas State University and K-State Athletics, Inc. rules and regulations.
