The Cardiovascular Devices and Therapies Lab within the Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering, Kansas State University is seeking a full-time Research Assistant. This position will support research in cardiovascular tissue engineering.

Worksite Description
This position is On-site. On Site required
All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular biology and biochemistry methods (e.g., assay preparation, immunohistochemistry, PCR, spectrophotometry)
- Willingness to handle animal tissue
- Attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to train and assist junior lab personnel (e.g., undergraduate and graduate student)
