Intern, Veterinary Medicine

About This Role

The purpose of the position is to offer quality of after-hours testing performed by the clinical pathology laboratory while at the same time train veterinarians who want to advance their diagnostic skills and/or those who are hoping to pursue advance training in the field of veterinary diagnostic medicine.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent (BVSc)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• General Practice and experience in clinical pathology
• Interest in Veterinary Diagnostic medicine
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to arrive to perform after hours tests within 20 minutes of being paged.

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
