Academic Program Specialist

About This Role

The Alan Levin Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering, Kansas State University is seeking a full-time academic support specialist to coordinate the undergraduate and graduate programs, which includes student recruitment efforts for the department.

The Academic Program Specialist will manage undergraduate and graduate program administrative duties, participate in giving tours to prospective students, attend prospective student recruiting activities, prepare course schedules, and oversee and update MNE Student Success website.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and four years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College level education
  • Administrative experience
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • 4-years experience in higher education setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft office

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
