This position exists to provide highly skilled plumbing support to the campus community to provide a safe, sanitary environment for students, faculty, staff, and guests.
About Us
The Division of Facilities' maintenance personnel conduct routine maintenance on building systems and equipment to ensure the operational reliability of our campus' building systems. This maintenance involves regular, scheduled service to maintain equipment functionality without the need for immediate repairs.
Worksite Description
This position is On-site.
All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer high school graduate or equivalent with vocational training in the plumbing trade.
- Thirty months of experience in plumbing work.
- Ability to work from sketches, blueprints, and specifications, and read and understand specific instructions in English.
Sponsorship eligibility:
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
