 Our team is growing and we are currently seeking an inspiring individual to join us in the position of Head of Employee Experience at our ISS Melbourne Head Office, employed on a Full Time  basis. Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, this position will play an integral role on the Pacific People and Culture Leadership Team.

 The Position:

Employee Engagement

  • Act as a champion for company culture and values, ensuring they are embedded across all employee programs
  • Design and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, belonging, and equity, with measurable outcomes.
  • Map and enhance employee touchpoints, from onboarding to exit, ensuring a cohesive and inclusive experience.
  • Drive a consistent employee experience across the ISS corporate offices
  • Create targeted strategies to address areas with low engagement scores, ensuring alignment with the broader Employee Value Proposition
  • Ensure D&I initiatives and strategy are effectively communicated and accessible to frontline staff, providing tailored support and engagement opportunities
  • Partner with D&I Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to enhance their D&I strategy and initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Internal Communication Strategy: Lead efforts to ensure consistent and engaging communication of company updates, policies, and events (in conjunction with MarComms Team)
  • Provide support to country P&C and communications teams in executing local engagement campaign.

Employee Recognition

  • Review our Employee Recognition Program and Systems, ensuring the program reflects diverse perspectives.
  • Enhance systems to celebrate contributions and achievements, ensuring the program reflects diverse perspectives.
  • Create a program to celebrate tenure and career achievements in meaningful and personalized ways.

Data Analytics

  • Analyze engagement metrics and feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of engagement campaigns and recognition programs
  • Review, analyse, and present survey results and help transform findings into actions on various organisational levels
  • Design and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, belonging, and equity, with measurable outcomes

Onboarding and Offboarding

Onboarding Redesign: Develop an engaging and inclusive onboarding process to create a positive first impression for new hires

Technology and Transformation

Manage technology that enhances the employee experience, such as platforms for engagement, learning, or feedback.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships across teams and functions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
  • Proven experience in creating and driving engagement and recognition campaigns in a digital, global context
  • Proficiency in establishing feedback loops and analyzing engagement metrics.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in employee engagement and recognition.
  • Inspirational, confident, and enthusiastic about frontline engagement.
  • Familiarity with employee engagement platforms, HR technologies, and D&I frameworks.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, ability to drive culture, and communication skills to deliver on the P&C purpose
