We’re seeking an exceptional and driven finance professional looking to expand their knowledge and experience to join our team as an Accountant in a Full Time permanent capacity, working from our Macquarie Park corporate office.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accountant will be integral in the day-to-day business support function to the wider business, working closely with the Business Partnering finance team to ensure all deliverables are met in accordance with deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of month end close, general ledger reconciliations and reporting
  • Prepare and post month-end journals eg. prepayments, accruals, provisions, local and global intercompany recharges
  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Open items reporting
  • Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations and provide variance analysis
  • Prepare Corporate overhead cost allocation and post journals
  • Assist with the month-end preparation and finalisation of OneStream 
  • Back up and support Financial Shared Services Team

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
  • Through understanding of accounting principles
  • Customer service focus, eager to learn and be open to new challenges
  • High attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting within deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with English fluency
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Self-motivated
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot tables, Vlookups, SumIfs)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Desirable criteria:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Previous exposure to Navision and OneStream
