We’re seeking experienced industrial plumbers or boilermakers with a background in Maintenance and Preventative Water Pipeline works. You will bring a can-do attitude, teamwork, flexibility, and a strong commitment to safety and service to work a 9-day fortnight Drive-in-Drive-Out to Blackwater in the Bowen Basin.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our clients' assets, contributing to the smooth running of our operations. Working 10-hour days in demanding, remote environments means solid fitness and resilience are essential—if you’re driven, self-motivated, and ready for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
· Monitor and maintain pipelines
· Inspect for leaks, corrosion, or damage along the pipeline route, pumps and motors.
· Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
· Operate valves, pumps, and associated equipment to control water flow.
· Respond to alarms or issues promptly, including isolating sections for repair.
· Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and incidents.
· Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
· Participate in an on-call roster once per month
- Current Trade Qualification in Plumbing and Gas Fitting OR Current Boiler Maker Trade (Queensland Trade Recognised)
- Demonstrated experience with Pipeline Maintenance
- Previous experience working in a facilities maintenance environment involving large volumes of assets and programmed servicing schedules.
- Ability to work Drive-in-Drive-Out, Mon-Fri week 1 and Mon-Thu week 2
- Current QLD Coal Board Medical
- Open QLD Driver’s Licence (ESSENTIAL)
- Construction White Card (CPCCOHS1001A - Work safely in the construction industry or CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) – card must be issued after 2015 to be accepted (ESSENTIAL)
- Police Clearance less than 12 months old (ESSENTIAL)
