Exciting opportunities exist to work at Perth Airport as an Aviation Training & Compliance Coordinator for a global company!
We are seeking an exceptional Training & Compliance Coordinator with high attention to detail who have an interest in pursuing a career in the Aviation Sector. ISS Aviation and Transport in Australia are responsible for screening 43 million passengers and over 300,000 flights every year! Your role will consist of conducting audits, managing training records, performing spot checks and system tests at Perth Airport on a Full-time Monday to Friday basis.
About The Position:
Reporting to Training Manager - Transport & Infrastructure, Perth Airport, this key service support role forms part of the core support team in a key security contract for ISS and you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing all inductions and ongoing training programs for both ISS and Perth Airport staff.
A few of your key responsibilities will be:
- Conduct a regular training needs analysis and communicate this to the Training Manager.
- Assist with developing learning programs and options for staff.
- Facilitate and coordinate training programs for ISS staff.
- Record attendance at training sessions and be available for follow up if required.
- Lead the site Traineeship Program at Perth Airport.
- Provide training and support to projects.
- Manage and run the new hire onboard process.
- Provide support and training for Redline to Supervisors and staffs.
- Ensure APOs (Screeners) are fully trained in accordance with Aviation Transport Security Act and Reg.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records in the Learning Management System.
- Liaise with ISS RTO to ensure streamlined delivery of Cert II Transport Security Protection (TSP)
- Train, coach and mentor a network of Operational Champions/Subject Matter Experts in each department to ensure that ISS delivers quality, competency-based training for new and existing team members.
- Represent ISS as a professional and committed partner to the success and continuous improvement of the contract.

What we are looking for:
- Currently hold an ASIC or have the ability to obtain an ASIC.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or similar)
- Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Health, Safety and Quality or industry experience to similar level
- Demonstrated leadership skills – proven ability to influence others to a considered course of action, effective communication, professional presentation
- Demonstrated experience requiring problem solving, attention to detail, record keeping compliance and ability to be flexible to business need as demands fluctuate in a customer service environment
