🕒 Flexible Casual & Part-Time Opportunities

Successful candidates must be willing to work within a rotational roster, including early morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts. Support Services Attendants may also be required to work night shifts.

🧼 Hospital Cleaner

• Provide cleaning services across hospital wards, departments, and public areas
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Identify and report cleaning, maintenance, or safety concerns
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures
• Assist with decontamination of surfaces following clinical incidents

🍽️ Food Services Assistant

• Prepare and present patient meals, including sandwiches, salads, beverages, and snacks
• Assemble meal trays and stock workstations
• Clean and sanitise trays, crockery, cutlery, and food service equipment
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with legislation and site procedures
• Deliver excellent service to patients and healthcare teams

🦽 Support Services Attendant

• Safely transport patients throughout the hospital
• Coordinate patient movement services across the site
• Transport medical equipment, supplies, records, and documentation
• Adhere to infection prevention, manual handling, and WHS requirements
• Provide responsive support to clinical and operational teams

✅ Minimum Requirements

• Availability to work a rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays

• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical assessment

• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain) issued within the last 12 months

• Current DHS Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) (not required for St Andrew's Hospital)

• Evidence of, or willingness to obtain, required SA Health immunisations:

  • Hepatitis B
  • Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
  • Varicella
  • Whooping Cough (dTpa)
