Finance General Manager – ISS Defence (SA & WA)

About the Role

The Finance General Manager is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day contractual and financial obligations for ISS Defence operations across South Australia and Western Australia.

This role will be based out of our ISS Office in Adelaide.

Working closely with the Key Account Director and senior operational leaders, this role provides strategic and operational financial leadership across Defence contracts. You will ensure strong financial governance, accurate reporting, compliance with internal and external requirements, and commercial support across a secure, complex operating environment.

This role is well suited to a proactive, resilient finance leader who is comfortable partnering with operations, navigating secure Defence environments, and balancing commercial outcomes with compliance requirements.

Purpose and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Partner with and support the Key Account Director on all finance functions and reporting for SA and WA GSL contracts, including performance measures
• Manage and produce monthly Profit & Loss statements and portfolio reporting
• Oversee invoicing processes for Base Services and Survey & Quote activities
• Work collaboratively with the ICT Service Delivery Manager to manage ISS finance systems
• Prepare and deliver monthly management commentary and financial analysis
• Manage and produce monthly rolling forecasts
• Develop and assist in the preparation of the full-year detailed budget
• Manage and assist with contracted price escalations in line with ISS standards and procedures
• Support contract variation calculations in line with quotation costing and contractual requirements
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and governance standards
• Manage internal and external audit requirements
• Lead, develop, and manage direct reports, fostering capability and performance

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a finance or related senior financial role
• Demonstrated experience overseeing financial reporting, analysis, and governance
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders
• Bachelor of Business or Commerce (Accounting)
• CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)

Compliance: Must be an Australian Citizen and must hold or be eligible for a Baseline Security Clearance

Experience in a financial management role within the Facilities Management industry is desirable.
