P&C Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Coordinator to join our People & Culture team at Brisbane Airport. This is a site-based role with a strong focus on employee relations, HR and supporting leaders to effectively manage their people.

You will work closely with operational leaders and employees across the business, providing practical HR advice and ensuring our people processes are applied consistently and fairly.

About the Role

As an HR Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of People & Culture services across ISS operations at Brisbane Airport.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide practical HR advice and coaching to leaders and supervisors on performance, conduct, attendance and employee relations matters.
  • Coach and support leaders through performance management processes, including regular and formal performance reviews.
  • Coordinate and manage workplace investigations relating to employee conduct, performance and workplace issues.
  • Coordinate and participate in employee meetings, including performance, counselling, disciplinary and absenteeism meetings.
  • Provide guidance on the application and interpretation of Enterprise Agreements, Awards, company policies and employment legislation.
  • Support leaders to effectively manage absenteeism and improve attendance outcomes across the operation.
  • Prepare and coordinate appropriate documentation and correspondence relating to employee relations matters.
  • Support consultation and employee engagement forums, including Workplace Consultative Committee and Health & Safety Committee meetings.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential and timely records of employee relations matters, outcomes and actions.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding and other key employee lifecycle activities.
  • Monitor and report on HR and employee relations trends, including turnover, absenteeism, performance and case management data.
  • Analyse people metrics and provide insights to support workforce planning, retention and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the broader People & Culture team to deliver HR initiatives and improve the employee experience.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, investigations and workplace conduct matters.
  • A sound understanding of HR processes, employment legislation and industrial instruments.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret people data, including turnover, absenteeism, recruitment and employee relations trends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working with leaders and providing practical, commercially focused HR advice.
  • The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and take ownership of HR matters.
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline is highly regarded.
