We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Sydney on a Full-Time basis.

The primary focus of the Project Manager role is on project delivery, ensuring projects are completed reliably and consistently according to plan. This role involves developing and delivering project services that meet both business and client needs.

The Project Manager will lead the preparation, prioritization, coordination, and execution of assigned projects and programs. These may include planned works, long-term maintenance, one-off projects, and business improvement initiatives. They will ensure that risks are identified and controlled, incidents are handled, and tenant, client, or customer issues are managed in line with agreed processes.

Building and maintaining a strong relationship with the client representatives for the respective portfolio is crucial. Additionally, the Project Manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the sites by identifying project improvements and ensuring compliance with client and ISS processes and procedures.

A snapshot of what you will do:

  • Apply, enforce and monitor compliance with all ISS HSEQ policies, procedures and systems, including all associated Commonwealth and State statutory regulations
  • Undertake regular audits of the field workforce, including contractors against client and ISS HSEQ policies and standards
  • Identify safety and environmental hazards and follow through to control hazards and escalate as required
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the designated client representatives via regular formal meetings
  • Attend meetings to co-ordinate activities, strategies, planning to meet business needs
  • Plan, prioritise, coordinate and deliver projects/tasks; liaise closely with other Professional & Technical staff within ISS/clients to ensure coordinated, effective, customer focused solutions and delivery.
  • Ensure all buildings within designated area are compliant in accordance with the Service Description for the contract
  • Ensure appropriate facility audits are undertaken as per the required standards within the designated area
  • Propose and recommend options for upgrading facilities within the designated area to improve integrity and assess the feasibility of such options
  • Liaise with install contractors/project managers/consultants, etc for all site upgrade issues

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 to 7 years experience in complex project management
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Project Manager qualifications  in  MSP, APM , PMI or equivalent
  • Experience working in the Facility Management industry, liaising with contracts, multiple stakeholders and contract administration level of project management
  • Safety practices in project delivery is essential
  • Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects at various stages of delivery
  • Communication Management at all levels of internal and external stakeholders
