We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our team, ensuring exceptional safety standards in our vibrant community at our site in regional Western Australia.

We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized Health & Safety Manager to join our team and manage the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) functions with precision and efficiency.

A Snapshot of What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) function of ISS management systems in compliance HSEQ policies, plans, procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Lead and manage the on-site safety team and ensure the company complies with its legal and contractual obligations under the terms and conditions of contract and with relevant statutory obligations.
  • Provide expert advice, support and coaching to the site safety team, management and staff to ensure they understand and manage their health safety and environmental risks and responsibilities.
  • Ensure occupational health and safety and environmental plans and procedures for all site activities are developed, implemented, document controlled and complied with.
  • Manage investigations into accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine root causes and ensuring incidents are appropriately investigated and actioned to prevent recurrence.
  • Taking the lead and participating in visible HSE initiatives to drive site wide HSE performance.
  • Review, update and present HSE reporting at client reviews and site management team on a regular basis.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a senior safety role (within the energy, utilities, or resources sectors highly desired)
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve operational and service excellence.
  • Expertise: Minimum Certificate IV in WHS, lead i-Cam Investigator certificate & knowledge of relevant State legislative requirements.
  • Problem-Solver: Ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and implement process improvements.
  • Communicator: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
