Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Distribution / Cleaning Supervisor at our location Queen Elizabeth Hospital, employed on a Full Time basis, working Monday to Friday, 7am to 3.06pm.

The Position:

  • Supervision of cleaning and distribution attendants.
  • Promoting and encouraging a safe working environment for staff.
  • Daily management of resources on site including labour, chemicals. equipment, equipment maintenance or repair, material and uniforms.
  • Ensure that operatives work in a manner that does not disrupt the client, or members of the public.
  • Undertaking any supervisory duty as directed from time to time by the Facility Services Manager commensurate with their abilities and training.
  • Identifying and recording any non-conformances relating to Distribution/Cleaning services and/or safety then initiate, recommend or provide solutions.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Available to work Monday to Friday, 0700 to 1506.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in front line management with large groups of employees.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
  • Knowledge of relevant Award and State legislative requirements, OHS&W Act, ISO9002 Standards Australia, EQUIP.
  • Completed or undertaking management training. 
  • Willingness to own and maintain a smart phone.
  • Genuine interest in working with & caring for people.
  • Willingness to train and work in various departments of a health care facility.
  • Willingness to gain or provide evidence of immunisation for Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, and Diptheria as per SA Health policy
  • Current Police Clearance no older than 12 months, or the ability to obtain (Essential)
  • Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or the ability to obtain (Essential)

 

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a health care or aged card setting is highly desirable.
