AERC Field Lead Environmental Research Specialist Anchorage
As our Field Lead Environmental Research Specialist, you will help the Applied Environmental Research Center (AERC) and Center for Strategic Partnerships and Research (CSPR) so they can provide a platform for high-level consultancy between industry and the University of Alaska (UA), while serving as a bridge to resources, expertise and talents across the entire UA system. The Project Specialist is expected to support the AERC mission which is to collect, analyze and apply environmental, natural and cultural resource data for optimal management of public lands. Assistant Professor of Justice Anchorage
The University of Alaska Anchorage Justice Center invites applications for two nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor positions, to begin no later than Fall Semester 2025. These positions are responsible for teaching undergraduate courses for the Bachelor of Arts in Criminology & Criminal Justice, conducting and disseminating criminological research, and providing service to the discipline, to the university, and to the community. While all areas of specialization will be considered for hire, preference will be given to candidates with expertise in criminal victimization (esp. gender-based violence) and corrections (esp. community corrections and reentry). We especially encourage applications from candidates who reflect the diversity present in our community and student body, and who will promote and enhance multicultural engagement.
SSBCI Tribal Equity Program Assistant Director Anchorage
