Knowledge of technical area of expertise, experience sufficient to perform the duties required by the program. Successful candidate(s) for this position must have:
- Experience with supplies, hand and power tools, and equipment (such as iron worker and , band saws), used in welding.
- Experience with gasses used in welding environments (such as acetylene, oxygen , blue shield and argon.)
- Ability to assist with assessing and maintaining welding shop safety.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both faculty and students, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work with students from diverse populations.
- Ability to make sound judgments and to maintain confidentialitial
- Experience commensurate with the position responsibilities within a welding or manufacturing shop, or equivalent.
- Experience working with welding machines, tools and equipment, preferred.
- Welding experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
Educational / vocational experience in subject area sufficient to perform the typical duties as required by program coordinator.
Position Details:
This is a part-time, temporary non-exempt position. Salaries begin at $20.47 and are based on education and experience.

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
