A successful candidate will encompass the following skills and abilities: 

Knowledge of accepted instruction methods.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Public speaking skills.
Customer service skills.
Providing high-quality instruction through suitable academic preparation.
Familiar with computers and other technologies for instruction, such as Blackboard.

Previous teaching experience is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in a field related to the position, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 2 years of relevant experience in the field or courses to be taught.

Position Details:

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position.  Minimum salaries are set by the United Academic - Adjunct, AAUP-AT/AFL-CIO collective bargaining agreement.  Salaries may vary based upon education and experience.

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as additional adjunct faculty are needed.

This is an at-will, union-represented adjunct position, and may be canceled based upon the needs of the university.
