Position Summary:
The University of Alaska Southeast Alumni Office is looking for self-motivated, customer service oriented, and responsible student intern to provide clerical office support. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain professional office experience and learn about the UAS Development office’s services. The student will be a student alumni association liaison to the Alumni Association Board of Directors, meaning he/she will sit in on Board member meetings. Professional demeanor and attire required for a professional office environment. This is an entry-level position and on the job training will be provided.

This position requires good interpersonal and written communication skills and exercises independent judgment and decision-making. Duties require knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Knowledge in Adobe and Google software is desired but not required.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be eligible for student employment at UAS, a student must:
a. be enrolled in the university system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or
b. for employment between semesters, have successfully completed six or more UA credit hours in the preceding semester and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester; and
c. not work hours which interfere with class attendance; and
d. have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
Position Details:
This is a part-time, Student 2 position; pay is $14 per hour, based on education and experience
