Position Summary:
The Career and Technical Center at KPC is hiring a Student Assistant 2 to be our Student Tutor but may occasionally act as a front office attendant. We are seeking an student with Process Technology & Instrumentation Program familiarity or the ability to learn on the job.
The Career and Technical Center at Kenai River Campus is hiring a Student Assistant 2 to be our Student Tutor and may occasionally act as a front office attendant. We are seeking an student with Process Technology & Instrumentation Program familiarity or the ability to learn on the job.
The CTEC Attendant will be involved in tutoring activities, programs, and events such as (but not limited to): tutoring students in the Process Technology and Instrumentation programs, greeting and directing students appropriately, answering phones, taking messages, accepting homework and other documents from students, keeping the office clean and stocked with necessary supplies and helping instructors set up events such as Operator Club Meeting.
A successful candidate will be familiar with the Process Technology & Instrument Programs, will have the ability to listen to and address student concerns and will have the ability to explain difficult concepts and mechanical operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a current KPC student taking 6 or more credits and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0. Submitting a resume is greatly appreciated.
Position Details:
This position is located on the Kenai River Campus in Soldotna, AK. This is a part-time, STUDENT 2 POSITION.
