This position will organize physical and digital language materials as well as help prepare manuscripts for publication. Work alongside our ANLA Collections Manager to provide access to Alaska's diverse linguistic heritage.

To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will posses library experience, knowledge of Yup'ik, Unangam Tunuu, Inupiaq, or other Alaska Native languages and or knowledge of linguistics. This candidate will be able to work independently, pay close attention to detail, follow instructions, and work with or learn database software systems. Have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a student at UAF, enrolled in at least 6 credits and have a GPA of 2.0 or greater. Library experience preferred.

Position Details:

New hires will be placed on the UA student salary schedule, based on education and experience. Please note that based on geographic location and knowledge, skills, and abilities, the hiring authority for the position may negotiate a higher rate to ensure fair and equitable compensation.
