To thrive in this role you will use your familiarity with MAC and PC-based operating systems and with database entry to support students and staff in their educational pursuits. The successful candidate will utilize their excellent customer service skills to be responsive to phone and email inquiries from students, staff, industry partners, customers and clients. They will excel in communicating in a professional, clear and consistent manner across the diverse population served by MAPTS. 

Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduate and 1 year experience in office administration, or the equivalent combination of training and education is required. The ideal candidate will have some college coursework and at least two years’ experience in office administration.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Kenai Peninsula Campus in Soldotna, Alaska.  This administrative assistant position requires in office / on-site work; this is not a remote work opportunity. Occassional travel may be required. This is a full-time, term, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 76, based on education and experience.
