The UAF Student Activities Office is looking for an energetic and creative student to assist in planning and implementing fun and exciting activities for other UAF students.
SAO Mission:
The Student Activities Office exists to enhance the experience of students at University of Alaska Fairbanks. We do this by giving them the opportunity to have fun outside the classroom, challenge them to try something new, and grow through new experiences and meeting new people. We are supportive of the university and its mission, while striving to give voice and strength to the students. Community is built on shared experiences and growth, and we can provide opportunities for both here on campus.
SAO Goals/Vision:
SAO puts on events and programs that students want to attend. But our programs should always serve a purpose. That purpose could be to allow students time to discover new interests, such as at an Open Mic Night, or it could be for them to learn about climate change, such as through a recycled art night. Find what you and other students are passionate about and run with it!
