The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA), Campus Services division is recruiting for experienced Custodial Staff to provide custodial support to the Housing complex. On occasion, this position will need to assist with custodial support during and after large events such as athletic tournaments, concerts and trade shows at the Alaska Airlines Center. Due to the various times events may be scheduled, an applicant should be willing and able to have a flexible work schedule.
The successful applicant for this position should be self-motivated and self-directed demonstrating a high-level of skill and/or experience in commercial custodial services and in general building upkeep. A variety of the tasks performed by this position are performed independently with limited supervision. The work to be completed is broad in scope and varies depending on many different factors. The duties will include cleaning rooms and carpet cleaning in the residential housing complex. |

The Alaska Stable Isotope Facility (ASIF) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) seeks applicants for a term-funded, staff position to lead the use and maintainance of a Multi Collector Plasma Inductively Coupled Mass Spectrometry (NEPTUNE - multi collector ICPMS) to analyze samples submitted by clients for a broad range of projects. Strontium isotopes are the focus of the lab and prior experience using and applying this isotopic system is needed. This position will involve running and promoting the state-of-the-art MC-ICPMS instrumentation as part of the ASIF, which is a non-profit, analytical research facility (research center) in a dedicated state-of-the-art lab space. |
