Job description:
Support the Aquaculture Branch in the management, sustainable development, regulation of the marine farming industry in Tasmania.

About the role
The purpose of the role is to support the Aquaculture Branch in the management, sustainable development, regulation of the marine farming industry in Tasmania in accordance with the Marine Farming Planning Act 1995 and the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 by supporting the projects, programs and strategies conducted by the Branch.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Period of appointment
12 months.
Desirable requirements
- A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
- Hold (or ability to obtain) a (Near coastal) coxswain certificate.
- Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate or equivalent.
