
The Team
The Hobart Community Health Nursing Service:
- Is based at Upper Statton Building, Repatriation Centre, 90 Davey Street, Hobart and delivers nursing care to clients in their homes in the cities of Hobart and Glenorchy, in nurse run clinics and in Glenorchy Ambulatory Care Centre.
- Diverse and complex nursing care is delivered including wound management, catheter care, post-acute care, end of life care, and intravenous therapies including oncology interventions.
The Role
This position will support the Hobart Community Health Nursing team across both of our sites at the Repat, 90 Davey St Hobart and Glenorchy Health Centre 40404-408 Main Road Glenorchy.
You will need
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to maintain, electronic appointment scheduling and information management systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, contemporary office administration practices including reception and booking procedures, with the flexibility to prioritise workload in order to function efficiently and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate effectively, courteously and discreetly with clients, external service providers and all staff including clinical personnel.

Details of appointment
Permanent part time, day worker position, working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary
$68,854 to $73,947 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with the Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award.
