About the role
The Aged Care team is seeking Enrolled Nurses to provide high quality, person-centred care to residents within a supportive healthcare environment. Working under the direction and supervision of Registered Nurses, the role contributes to the delivery of clinical care, resident assessments, care planning and quality improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and the delivery of safe, evidence based care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
- Effective assessment, problem solving and organisational skills in a clinical setting.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to providing respectful, person-centred care.

Details of appointment
- Permanent
- Full time - 76 hours per fortnight
- Shift worker (fully rotational)
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$73,109 to $80,524 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type.
Salary Packaging
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Regional Allowances:
- District Allowances of up to $4,618 per annum for a family.
- Remote Professional Development Allowance of $4,062 per annum and an additional salary allowance of 10%.

- Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.

Eligibility
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Working with Aged Care/Commonwealth Home Support Program Check.
