Provide assistance to the teacher(s) by assisting with the supervision and learning of students. Provide support and assistance to students with high and/or additional needs including but not limited to students with physical and/or intellectual disabilities and students with behavioural issues.
*Employment conditions - 40 weeks
Assist the School Business Manager in the management of a school office, controlling and co-ordinating work, data and information flow. Provide general instruction, guidance and supervision for assigned office staff. Provide advice and general administrative support to the School Business Manager and staff and students.
As part of a team or alone perform various facets of the attendant role which may involve cleaning, grounds keeping, kitchen assistant duties and maintenance of school facilities to a hygienic, safe and presentable level. This role may also involve minor maintenance of related equipment.
Manage and co-ordinate the school administrative support service and assigned resources: general, financial, facility and human. Provide authoritative advice and support to the Principal and senior staff on administrative, resource and service management. Contribute significantly to the delivery and improvement of administrative service outcomes.
Provide support to school leadership in using inquiry cycles to identify and implement whole school improvement strategies aligned to the Literacy Strategy to improve outcomes for all students.
To implement and manage appropriate learning programs for students and to assess individual student progress. To assist the Principal in the general educational leadership, management and administration of a particular sector of a school or college.

Provide assistance to the teacher(s) by carrying out a wide range of teacher support tasks in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) learning area. May also provide support for students re-engaging with learning.
