Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Supervise the administrative operations of the Abuse in Care team within the State Litigation Office including mentoring and training administrative staff in all aspects of their duties to ensure the delivery of effective administrative services.
- Coordinate, allocate and monitor workloads in accordance with service standards and review, modify procedures and develop Guidelines.
- Provide comprehensive executive support to senior legal practitioners assisting the State Litigator including:
- timely, high quality and accurate document production using audio transcription and copy typing skills;
- making complex travel, accommodation, function and other contact arrangements;
- diary management; and
- file management
- Report to the Senior Executive Officer in relation to matters of administration and staff supervision and undertake tasks as directed.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including senior Departmental and Government staff.
- Deal with enquiries in the absence of senior legal practitioners by referring them to appropriate officers.
- Undertake such other administrative and clerical services within Crown Law as the State Litigator may require.

Desirable Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration or Business (Legal Services) or equivalent experience.
