Job description:
Assist the Director, Compliance and Dispute Resolution to perform functions under the relevant legislation including the management and conduct of performance reviews, investigations, prosecutions and promote compliance.

Period of Appointment
Fixed-term until 7 April 2026.
Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Provide timely and accurate information and guidance on legislation administered by the Unit and identify possible breaches where appropriate.
- Conducting investigations as required to prepare a recommendation for the statutory officer.
- Investigate complaints, allegations and other matters as directed by the Manager Rental Services and Director, Compliance and Dispute Resolution.
- Prepare orders and Notices under relevant legislation for the statutory officer.
- Prepare prosecution files, reports and recommendations in relation to investigations in a timely manner.
- Promote, develop and assist with the implementation of programs, policy and guidelines that improve understanding of and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Respond to enquiries and complaints by providing information and advice to stakeholders on the operation of relevant Acts and Regulations.
- As required perform other tasks and duties within the division.
