Deliver high-quality visitor experiences that underpin Tasmania’s reputation as a world-class eco-tourism destination at Cradle Mountain

About the role

The Visitor Services Officer at Cradle Mountain will assist the day-to-day operations of the Visitor Centre and contribute to delivering essential frontline services by:

  • Overseeing Overland Track and Waldheim Cabins bookings.
  • Providing information to visitors regarding recreational activities, safety considerations, Leave No Trace principles, and natural and cultural values.
  • Balancing and reconciling monies collected through sales and entry fees, ensuring adherence to policy and procedures.
  • Providing logistical support and assistance in the event of emergencies and other critical incidents.

  • A current motor vehicle drivers’ licence.
