Job description:
The Senior Test Analyst will contribute to the successful delivery of the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Expansion (RWVP-E) project by providing domain specialist skills and knowledge through the coordination of system analysis, testing and quality assurance activities to deliver a new RWVP-E ICT system for the Department.

Period of Appointment
Fixed term for 2 (two) years
Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Coordinate the test planning, test estimation, test status reporting, defect reporting, system testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing for each system.
- Prepare test plans and test cases for the system.
- Populate the test case management application with comprehensive tests that can be carried out by staff to ensure user acceptances testing and regression testing has covered all functionality.
- Undertake and ensure that adequate testing is carried out for the system including compliance with approved Test Plans.
- Ensure that testing is as rigorous as possible within the capability of available resources.
- Participate in systems tests, functional testing, facilitate and support user acceptance testing and manage reporting on test issues for each system.
- The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.
Essential Requirements
- A current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
Desirable Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable and/or extensive work experience demonstrating a high level of skills in test management and project related work would be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in the use of DevOps as a specialist testing tool would be an advantage.
